A Review: "Healthy, Active Kids and Literacy" PD Event

The ESS was pleasantly surprised to see over thirty people attend last night's PD Event, "Healthy, Active Kids and Literacy"! After a few technical difficulties, our clinician June LeDrew began her amazing presentation of the importantance of today's children living active lives. Did you know?

  • 27% of kids's waking hours are spent in front of a screen?

  • Kids as young as eight are being diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes?

  • Today's children are expected to live shorter lives that their parents?

Thanks June, for the eye-opening presentation, the free resources and signings. For more information, go to the following sites or look for these resources:

Children on the Move (picture book)

Girls on the Move (picture book)

Dance on the Move (picture book)

65 Energy Blasts (DVD)

If you attended and have any comments or advice for us, please comment on this blog post or email!!
