Next Meeting

Head's up to all of our current ESS! Our next MANDATORY meeting is October 14 at 5:00pm in the Education Lounge. You MUST be there unless you have a very valid excuse (email patton2r@uregina.ca if you will be missing).

Also, this is the LAST meeting welcome to new members - we will be finalizing positions and assigning tasks. If you have any questions, please email ureginaess@gmail.com.

We will have a finalized list of this year's ESS by October 15. Thanks and hope to see you there!

A Review: "Healthy, Active Kids and Literacy" PD Event

The ESS was pleasantly surprised to see over thirty people attend last night's PD Event, "Healthy, Active Kids and Literacy"! After a few technical difficulties, our clinician June LeDrew began her amazing presentation of the importantance of today's children living active lives. Did you know?

  • 27% of kids's waking hours are spent in front of a screen?

  • Kids as young as eight are being diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes?

  • Today's children are expected to live shorter lives that their parents?

Thanks June, for the eye-opening presentation, the free resources and signings. For more information, go to the following sites or look for these resources:
