G.U.E.S.S. Workshop

Taking Science Outdoors! – Condie Nature Hike 2011

Are you interested in nature? Are you wondering of cool ways of integrating nature into your class? Well the Group of Undergraduate Education Science Students (G.U.E.S.S) has a solution for you!

On April 2nd, 2011 from 1pm-3pm, Nature Saskatchewan is hosting a Nature Hike out at Condie Nature Reserve (14 kilometers Northwest of Regina off HWY 11 at Exit A)! This is a professional development opportunity allows you to get out of the city and into nature, giving you unique ideas to incorporate nature into your classroom! Nature Saskatchewan is leading this hike and workshop and it will include the guided tour and certification.

Activities in the afternoon will include:

• Bird and plant Identification basics

• Outdoor packing reviews and planning ideas

• Nature Journaling/solo time.

• Hiking
